Taekwondo Federation to hold AGM Saturday

The  Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) will hold its second Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Saturday in Takoradi, western region.

Speaking in an interview, the general secretary of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF), Mr. Charles Amofah said: “We will be taking stock of our activities, events and performances of the regional associations and clubs.”

“GTF will also interact with the regional associations and clubs to access their performance over the year and to strategise and win more laurels for the country in international competitions,” Mr. Amofah added.

According to him, the GTF will present its financial report over the last year and the regional associations are also expected to present their reports in the second AGM.

“Over the past years, all the meetings and events take place here in Accra. During the first Annual General Meeting at the Accra Sports Stadium last year, it was agreed that the AGMs will be rotated across all the regions; so the western region has been chosen as the venue for this year’s AGM”. Mr. Amofah explained.

All the 10 GTF member regional associations and clubs registered under the Federation are expected to attend the second Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation.
