Students Advised To Draw Inspiration From Successful Academicians

Mr Enoch Kojo  Appiah, The District Chief Executive For Shama, Has Appealed To Students To Draw Inspiration From People Who Have Succeeded In Their Academic Career And Work Hard Towards A Better Future.

He Was Addressing Students From Junior High Schools In The Shama District During A Quiz Programme  To Mark The World Day Against  Child Labour Which Had The Theme, “Extend Social Protection; Combat Child Labour”.

The Event Was Jointly Organized By The Shama District Department Of The Social Welfare And The Shama District Assembly.

He Advised The Students, Especially, The Girl-Child, To Behave Responsibly So That They Would Not Jeopardize Their Future.

Mrs. Esther Bossman-Ammah, The Shama District Director Of Education, Advised Parents And Guardians Against Taking Advantage Of Their Weak Financial Background To Send Their Children Out For Laborious Work That Would Affect Their Lives.

Students Of Five Junior High Schools Participated In The Quiz Programme Which Centered On The Theme With  Komfueku Emerging Winners With 26 Points, Followed By Obinin Okyena Which Had 21 Points.

The Rest Were Bronikrom, Cran Methodist And Awuna Beach Which Won 12 And Nine Each Respectively. - GNA.
