Sterling Int. wins 2 platinum awards for export

Sterling International Limited has won two additional Platinum awards in Auto-Industrial coating division at the Export Excellence Award organized by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.

The awards, which were for excellence in export in 2014 and 2015, were in recognition of the company’s impressive export revenue repatriation of over 29.5million dollars in 2014 and 15.

Sterling International Limited is the largest manufacturer and leading exporter of automotive refinish, industrial, marine, protective and other coating related products to almost all countries in West and Central Africa.

A citation accompanying the platinum awards, commended the company for consistency in its performance since the inception of the company by winning top Export Excellence Awards for highest exports to neighboring countries.

An Executive Director of the company, Mr Arun Patil and a Director, Mr. Chris-Arcmann Ackummey, who received the Platinum awards for 2014 and 2015 respectively on behalf of Sterling International Ltd, at the award ceremony was held at the Banquet Hall of the State House under the patronage of President of Ghana Mr. John Mahama.

Mr. Arun expressed gratitude for the honour, and dedicated the awards to the workers of the company and Ghanaians in general.

He promised that the Company would continue to provide quality paints to its clients and support the Ghanaian economy promoting the export sector with its products.

The awards ceremony was to honour on deserving exporters for their contribution to the economic development of Ghana through the exports of non-traditional products.
