The Black Starlets of Ghana edged closer to securing a ticket to the 2017 U-17 Africa Championship despite suffering a 4-1 defeat to the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso.
Ghana qualification followed a 5-1 first leg spanking of the Burkinabes a week ago in Cape Coast.
The Black Starlets have thus qualified on a 6-5 aggregate.
Paa Kwesi Fabin’s boys ended the first half in a 1-1 stalemate but the Burkinabes returned stronger in the second half to score three more goals.
The Black Starlets find themselves in the final leg of qualifiers for the Madagascar showpiece with a clash against the winner of the Benin and La Cote d’Ivoire qualifier.
