Sports Minister Wishes Stars Well

Mr Elvis Afriyie AnkrahThe Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah on behalf of Ghanaians has wished the Senior national football team, the Black Stars well.

The Black Stars of Ghana would today play against Sudan in Omdurman.
He urged them to sustain the momentum in the upcoming return matches to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

“The Black Stars should be mindful of Zambia’s lead in group D. For this reason, it is imperative that we win this and the remaining matches to place Ghana in a better position to qualify for the World cup,” the minister said.

He urged the technical and management teams to continue to work hard to ensure that the team is better conditioned for the games ahead.
