Soulama To Be In Hearts Post In Top 4 Final

SlmhrsBurkina Faso glovesman, Abdoulaye Soulama could be between the sticks for Hearts of Oak before Kotoko fans in Kumasi on Sunday in the GHALCA Top-Four final against AshGold.

The 34-year-old experienced keeper left Kotoko in June after the end of the Ghanaian season following bribery allegations from Kotoko officials during their CAF Champions League game and is set to join their biggest rivals – Hearts of Oak, after agreeing terms with Hearts.

Hearts of Oak travel to Kumasi to face AshGold in the final of the GHALCA Top-Four competition and the Stallions keeper could be in town in time to topple out-of-favour Tetteh Luggard to start the game before Kotoko fans.

Soulama is yet to conclude contract talks with the Phobians, is believed to have agreed a three year contract with the club and is expected to be the number one for the rainbow boys.

While in his homeland for their AFCON qualifiers, reports riffed he could abandon his move to Hearts to join Burkina Faso Ligue 1 side ASFA Yennenga but the keeper has dispelled the rumours claiming his heart is at Hearts.

“I have been aware of being able to earn a lot more money with a transfer elsewhere but my heart is with Hearts of Oak,” he told Sports Crusader.

Hearts have also reportedly completed the signing of Ghana U20 keeper Seidu Mutawakiru who has left Kotoko.
