Show Interest In Safety Of Wards

foriCommander of Police for Dodowa in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra region, SUPT. Kwasi Ofori, has advised parents to show considerable interest in the safety of their wards both at home and in school.

He said even though the police was on top of security, it was important parents complemented the police by reporting suspicious persons and activities around educational institutions and other public facilities for the public good.

Supt. Kwasi Ofori was addressing the Fourth Graduation Ceremony of Prempeh Academy at Afienya Estates, after reviewing a parade mounted by pupils of the Academy.

He advised parents to closely monitor their wards and give them the best of education to enable them grow up into responsible citizens.

He said miscreants are a bane to social cohesion and reiterated the determination of the Service to weed out social misfits to enable law abiding citizens go about their businesses without let or hindrance.

On the her part, the Director of Prempeh Academy, Mrs. Sheila Osei Boakye , emphasised management of the school was poised to give children in the community, the same level and standard of good education received by their colleagues in privileged urban areas, and encouraged parents to enroll their wards in the school for quality tuition.

Barely four years after its establishment, Prempeh Academy has carved a niche as a centre of academic excellence, equipping pupils with learning skills comparable to best practices countrywide.
