Samia Speaks!

samia-nkrumahThe Leader of the Convention People’s Party, Samia Nkrumah, has denied stealing GH¢700, 000 of the party’s 2012 campaign funds.
The Daily Graphic newspaper reported on Thursday that the former Jomoro MP, together with the party’s 2012 Flagbearer Dr. Abu Sakara Forster, was unable to account for the money, according to the report of a fact-finding committee set up by the party.

She told XYZ News that: “There are many aspects of the Graphic story that are not accurate”.

“A slant has been added. It is not true that this amount has gone missing…it is an outright lie”, she asserted.
According to her, “the fact that the fact-finding committee’s report was leaked in the first place shows ill-intent because it wasn’t supposed to be leaked…so that alone casts some suspicion”.

The Daily Graphic publication claims other party executives such as General Secretary, Mr. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet and party member, Rodaline Imoro Ayarna, are also alleged to have benefited from the embezzlement.
