Round of 64 fixtures of FA Cup out

Defending Champions of the MTN FA Cup, Medeama would face Liberty Professionals in the round of 64 of this year’s competition following the draw held in Accra yesterday.

That would be one of the only two clashes between two premiership sides which promises to be keenly contested as both teams would be hoping to make it to the next stage of the competition.

The other premiership clash would witness Techiman City battling it out with Aduana Stars.

The draw also saw last year finalist, Kumasi Asante Kotoko facing AK Shion FC while on-fire Accra Hearts of Oak welcome Wassaman United to the Accra Sports Stadium.

Other games in the Northern Zone include Steadfast FC against Berekum Chelsea, Real 24 Hours facing it off with Unity FC while Bechem United travel to Paga to face Japan Stars.

STK Stars would face Asokwa Diportivo while Wa All Stars would play against former premiership side, Berekum Arsenals.

Sunyani Liberty would come against Tamale Liberty Babies; King Faisal would play Wamanafuor while Power Sporting Club would come against Nsoatre FC with AshantiGold set for Sun City.

Elsewhere, Rainbow FC would play Real Tamale United, New Edubiase against AC Milan FC while Wa Rockets would battle it out with Real Bawku United.

In the Southern Zone, Okwawu United would face Dreams FC, Westlanders would play Storm Academy while Holy Stars would be hoping to make a case against Sekondi Hasaacas.

Emmanuel FC would play Kade United; FC Samatex faces Unistars Soccer Academy, Homes Stars FC battle it out with Accra Youth FC while Krystal Palace faces Inter Allies.

WAFA are favourites against Efutu Great Kennedy, while Elmina Sharks face Great Astronomers with Heart of Lions battling it out with Dunkwa United.

Kotoku Royals would play Vision Media, Pure Joy FC against Danbort FC, Ho Hunters faces Okyeman Planners while Karela United would clash with SP Miren.
