“We believe we have educated you enough to enable you make the right choices, especially with issues of morality,” she stressed.

Mrs. Dake advised them not to involve themselves in drug abuse, pre-marital sex and homosexuality, but to continue their education with determination and diligence, to become useful to themselves, and society as well.

She assured them that, the school would be behind them, and be happy with their successes.

“Though you have physically left the school, we consider you as part of us and your success in future would be traced to your Alma mata,” Mrs. Dake emphasised.

The guest speaker, Prof. Kwesi Yankah, the president of the Central University College, urged parents to inculcate the Ghanaian values into their wards, and “speak your indigenous languages with them at home, it would not affect their academic performances”.
