“I’m happy to have won this title. The support of Ghanaians will serve as a motivation to win a much bigger title,” Samir said.

The Youth and Sports Minister described the boxer as a potential world beater and pledged his outfit’s support for him.
Mr. Ankrah said he was impressed with the boxer as he watched him fight that night. “I saw a lot of potential in him and I’m confident we will see a world champion soon,” he added.

Mr. Ankrah encouraged the boxer to work very hard since success comes through hard work.
He cautioned Samir against complacency and urged him to make the sky his limit.
Issa Samir was accompanied by his brother Bastie and his coach, Ofori Asare.
