Participating communities include, Mamobi, Sukura, Nima, Sabon Zongo, Nsawam Zongo, Accra New Town and Alajo.
The rest of the teams that would be competing for the ultimate trophy and cash prize at stake are Ashiaman (the defending champions), New Fadama, Madina, Darkuman and Tudu.
Sponsors of the event, have presented a cheque for GH¢20, 000 to support the event as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
Chairman of the occasion, Inusah Osman Mohammed commended organisers for the initiative, adding that last year’s event was fantastic.
“We expect that this year’s would supersede last year’s event and urged organisers to seek for more sponsorship to extend the event to the international level,” he stated.
A draw for the matches was held which would see the defending champion Ashiaman and New Fadama playing the first match in a repeat of last year’s opening match.
