Property Fraud unit receives assistance

Falcon Crest Investment Company limited, dealers in auto spare parts and Estate Development has presented items worth GH¢42,000 to the Property Fraud Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)  in Accra yesterday.

The items which include 17 office furniture and four air conditioners are to assist them in their activites.

The director of the company, Mr Charles Adom Tettey in presenting the items said the donation forms part of their corporate social responsibility.

He stressed the need to support the Police Service to ensure maintaining law and order in the country so that people can go about their businesses without fear.

Mr Tettey commended the personnel of the Service for their contribution in ensuring stability even at the peril of their lives.

He assured the CID of the company’s continuous support in helping them achieve their goals.

The Director-General of CID, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Maame Yaa Tiwaah Addo-Danquah who received the items stressed the need for partnership between the public and police in ensuring crime free society

“Crime prevention is a shared responsibility, hence the need to join hands in fighting the menace in the society,” she added.

She commended the company for the kind gesture and assured that the items would be used for its intended purpose.

The Director-General called on other organisations to emulate the company.
