Prisons Ladies to lock horns with Ampem Darkoa

Sunyani Prison Ladies will engage Techiman based Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Sunyani Coronation Park today in the biggest match day three fixture of the ongoing Normalisation Committee’s Special Women’s football competition.

The build up to the clash has seen tension rise with both sets of supporters expressing confidence of undoing the other.

Head Coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Nana Joe Adakwah holds the magic wand over his opponents, having beaten them in his first game against them away and inflicted a 5-1 away win before going ahead to defend the Women’s Super Cup with a 1-0 win over them.

Prison Ladies are also on record to have eliminated Ampem Darkoa Ladies from last year’s aborted Sanford Women’s FA Cup competition, beating them on penalties following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
