President wishes NDC candidates good luck

President John Dramani Mahama has extended his good wishes to all candidates vying for various national positions in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The party would organise its national delegates’ congress on Saturday, December 20, in Kumasi to elect its national officers and make some amendments to its constitution.

In a statement released from the presidency yesterday, President Mahama, who is also the leader of the NDC, urged all contestants to continue to engage in “a campaign of ideas and strategies”.

He noted that, he did not have a preferred candidate among the contestants, “because there is none”.

He advised the candidates that, “your prime objective should be how to make the NDC, which is the only party that truly cares for the people of Ghana and continues to demonstrate that through its policies and actions, stronger and more formidable”.

President Mahama urged delegates to “vote for whoever you believe has the capacity and ability to help grow our great party and work with the millions of supporters across the country.”

He added that, “as President and leader, it is who you the delegates decide on, that I will work with”.
