The Police Administration is yet to receive the video clip in which some police personnel were alleged to have been cited in the Tiger Eye pi, investigation involving some judges.
The Director-General in-charge of Administration, Commissioner of Police (COP) Rose Bio Atinga, told The Ghanaian Times in an interview yesterday that the necessary action would be taken based on the video clip.
At the moment, she said, the Administration could not tell if the said personnel were captured in the footage as couriers or recipients in the scandal.
It has been alleged that 15 police and prison officers were involved in the judicial bribery scandal.
The names and photographs of the personnel have been forwarded to the relevant institutions for the necessary action to be taken against them.
In respect of the judicial staff implicated in the scandal, the Judicial Service had set up two committees to investigate the various acts of misconduct, which the Tiger Eye pi report had indicated.
A statement issued and copied The Ghanaian Times by Mr Justice Alex B. Poku-Acheampong, the Judicial Secretary, said the Chief Justice was yet to establish a prima facie case against the High Court judges.
