PM wins Di Asa season 3 grand finale

The Di Asa season 3 grand finale last weekend saw Precious Mensah, popularly known as PM, emerge the winner of the Atinka Media Village’s (AMV) flagship TV reality show held in Accra.

Despite her being the biggest among the 47 plus-size contestants, PM beat them all and topped the voting chart with her exuberant dancing skills to win her the ultimate prize of a brand new salon car, a cash prize of GH₵2,500 and a 32-inch flat screen television set.

The second prize, a mini-Kia truck, popularly known as ‘Abosey Okai Matcho’, in addition to a cash prize of GH₵2,000, went to Valencia Kodjotse, known by her stage name Gaza.

Charity Aquah, with the stage name Maafia, received a tricycle, popularly called ‘Aboboyaa’ for the third prize, and cash prize of GH₵2,000.

The three winners were also presented with assorted goodies and would also enjoy a sponsored trip to Dubai.

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ms Cynthia Morrison and the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, jointly   presented the award to PM.

The two ministers gifted PM $500 to support her shopping while in Dubai as part of the winning package.

The three winners were presented with additional cash from some of the sponsors to assist them with shopping in Dubai.

However, all the other finalists were given a cash prize and packages from the sponsors of the show.

Artistes that headlined the show were Wendy Shay, Patapaa, Sister Afia, Article Wan, Joyce Blessing, Eze, Nadine, Borax, and the Di Asa Hit Maker, Ntiamoah.

One of the Judges who is a renowned Ghanaian musician, Akosua Agyapong, gave a thrilling performance at the Di Asa grand finale.

The queens from season one and two stole the show with spectacular performances in their beautiful costume.
