The Peki College of Education has matriculated 311 fresh teacher trainees into the main campus at Peki Avetile in the South Dayi District in the Volta Region.
The fresh students, comprising 180 and 1301 females, have been admitted to pursue various programmes leading to the award of Diploma in Basic Education.
A total of 699 candidates applied for admission with 635 qualified applicants but the college could only admit 311 students.
The Principal of the College, Mr. John Naporo Baako, addressing the fresh students, urged them to make good use of the opportunities available to them by studying hard to successfully complete their courses.
He further advised them to be morally and academically disciplined since the school would not tolerate any acts of indiscipline.
