peak pix Peak Green, a new variant of the hugely popular and quality Peak Milk, has been introduced into the Ghanaian market.

This Peak Green, an evaporated milk, where animal fats have been replaced by vegetable fats, offers households across Ghana the renowned great taste for which the Peak brand is loved globally, with the invaluable health benefits of low cholesterol and unmatched affordability.

Peak Green, the new variant of the Peak brand, is being introduced to meet consumers’ demand for milk with low cholesterol, the fastest growing segment of the total evaporated milk market, proving to be increasingly more popular.

The new Peak Green product, attractively packaged in a 170g tin, and with a recommended retail price of GH₵ 1.80 per tin, is most competitively priced, providing the best option for household budgets.

Welcoming stakeholders, Marc Desenfans, Managing Director of FrieslandCampina West Africa Ltd, said the introduction of Peak Green is the result of intense market research into the type of milk Ghanaians most want to consume.

This research has directed the company’s product formulation.

He said in the face of general illiquidity in the economy, which has tightened household food budgets, the company has focused deeply on delivering the new product at the lowest possible price without compromising quality.

In his product introduction speech, Mr. Wilfried Assi, Marketing Manager of FrieslandCampina West Africa Ltd, owners of Peak Green said Peak Green is produced in Holland, a country renowned globally for producing the finest quality fresh milk in the world.

He said its nutritional value and taste is unparalleled, containing several vitamins and minerals as well as low cholesterol, at a more affordable price for all.

This, he said, makes it an excellent ingredient for a wide variety of uses; such as tea, cocoa, coffee, porridges and cereals as well as for cooking, baking, among others.

Launching the product, Mr. Assi, noted that the introduction of Peak Green filled evaporated milk would change the nature of breakfast tables in households all around Ghana, providing greater satisfaction, better health and nutrition than ever before and at cheaper cost too.

He assured consumers that over the coming weeks and months, Peak Green would quickly become the most popular, and most demanded filled evaporated milk on the Ghanaian consumer market.
