Ozil, Fabregas set for shock moves

MESUT Ozil and Cesc Fabregas could be leaving the Premier League for pastures new, according to reports.

Ozil has been linked with a January switch to Fenerbahce, with the Daily Mail among the papers picking up on reports from Turkey stating that the midfielder could be set to leave Arsenal. The 29-year-old’s future under Unai Emery remains uncertain, with the German said to have failed to impress the new head coach during the Spaniard’s first few months at the club.

AC Milan will make a surprise January move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to the Mirror. The Spaniard is unlikely to earn a new deal at Stamford Bridge, and with his current contract running out at the end of the season, the Premier League club will look to cash in on the 31-year-old during the mid-season transfer window.

After fighting his way back into Antonio Conte’s plans, Fabregas finds himself in a similar scenario under Maurizio Sarri. He has appeared only in the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City, and with Jorginho and N’Golo Kante for company in the centre of midfield, it looks like Fabregas’ second spell in England is coming to an end.

According to the Mirror, Juventus are also keen on Wolves duo Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves, with the latter also reportedly attracting interest from both Manchester City and Manchester United. Neves joined Wolves from Porto for £15.8m last summer, but has been priced at £60m in the reports after an impressive season. – Eurosport
