Speaking at the event, the Group CEO of InstinctWave/Group Publisher InstinctBusiness and Convener of the Awards, Akin Naphtal said Ghana’s financial sector has undergone significant changes in recent years, adding that “Innovative products and services abound and customers are smiling. It is with this backdrop, that we set up the Ghana CFO Awards.”
The Convenor said: “the roles of CFOs in organisations are very important, yet they are not honoured in any way. These awards will go a long way to challenge finance executives to do more. It is a project that will look at those executives that have performed extraordinarily well and deserve to be honoured.”
Speaking on behalf of the winners, Mr Botchway commended InstinctWave for such a novelty, and also challenged his colleagues to use the awards as motivation to work harder.
