vandals 001AS part of its social responsibility, the Old Vandals Association of Commonwealth Hall, University of Ghana, has presented a photocopier, a printer and a scanner, all worth GH¢3,000.00, to the Mother Teresa School for girls at Senya Beraku in the Central Region.

The Mother Teresa School was founded by the former National President of the Old Vandals, the late Mr. Kwasi Essel-Koomson who passed away, about five year ago.

Making the presentation on, the National President, Alhaji Razak El-Alawa, assured that the Old Vandals would continue to support the school, because of its role in keeping needy girls in the Senya area at home, against the past, when the girls, because of poverty, were sent to places like Yeji to engage in fishing and denied basic education.

Receiving the equipment, the PTA Chairman, Mr. Anthony Mensah, thanked the Old Vandals for their public – spiritedness and called on other organizations to emulate them.

He noted that the Old Vandals have been supporting the school over the past ten years, and urged them not to relent in their efforts at doing so.
