Okwahu Utd midfielder open to a move

baffour picOkwahu United midfielder, Aikins Kyei Baffour, says he is open to a new club for a new challenge and would jump at the least opportunity at advances from Premier League clubs especially.

The on-loan player from the Liberty Professionals youth team was very instrumental for the “Soccer Mountaineers,” playing most of their games in the Division One League (DOL) as  well as all their games in the FA cup.

The young lad who plays as a defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder due to his versatility was sometimes played out of position as a defender where he excelled very well.

Baffour, in an interview with the Times Sports, revealed that even though he is not in a hurry to leave the Nkawkaw based club, he will love to have a new challenge when clubs approach him.

“As a player, you want to challenge yourself and play at the highest level so why not? I am open to move to a new club when an approach is made.”

“This past season was not bad for me as a player who came from the youth team of Liberty Professionals to play for one of the biggest traditional clubs in Ghana,” he added.

Kyei Baffour was part of the Okwahu United side that lost 2-1 to Bechem United in this year’s FA cup final played at the Cape Coast Stadium.
