Nunoo picks Nunu award

MASTER Daniel Nunoo of Jesus Cares International School distinguished himself to win Ga Central edition of this year’s Nunu Sports and talent festival at the Odorgonno Senior High School over the weekend. His brilliance on the pitch from the group stages to the final helped his school to defeat Santa George International Junior High School 1-0 in the final to lift the ultimate silverware.

And for his excellent display, he received a trophy, Nunu products and packets of Robb Sweet candy. It was Master Richard Piasa, Santa George, who picked the discovery of the two-day tourney prize.

The netball event saw St Justin Anglican JHS emerging tops with Odorgonno SHS trailing. The Best Shooter award went to Tonia Boateng (Odorgonno JHS), while   the Best Player prize went to Patience Ayaw (Seventh Day Sabbath Academy).

Mystical Rose Academy danced spiritedly to pick the first prize in the Choreography contest with Ambel International School finishing in second position.

It was Claudia Addo, who was adjudged the Best Female rapper after endearing herself to the close to the 5,000 pupils that thronged the venue.
