AS part of its corporate social responsibility to support the June 3 fire and flood victims, the National Investment Bank (NIB) has donated GH¢100,000 to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).

Brigadier-General Francis Vib-Sanziri, the acting National Co-ordinator of NADMO, received the cheque on behalf of NADMO from the NIB team led by Martin Amenyedzi, General Manager.

Mr. Amenyedzi reiterated that the bank would continue to support stakeholders like NADMO to help bring some relief to the flood and fire victims and their dependants.

The NADMO boss expressed worry at the looming fear of cholera epidemic in the wake of the floods and its aftermath, assuring all that the state machinery would be closely monitoring the situation and manage it such that, last year’s cholera catastrophe would not be repeated.

Brigadier General Vib-Sanziri was full of praise for NIB for the generous support and indicated that the donation was timely.
