A new television station solely for sports has been launched in Ghana.
Known as Kwese TV, the new station will telecast live the English Premier League (EPL) and other foreign leagues which it has secured exclusive rights to show.
Kwese TV has secured exclusive rights to show live matches on its new sports decoders.
Kwese Sport 1 shows live NBA, Spanish Copa Del Rey, EPL, Rugby, brazilian football, boxing as well as sports news and magazine shows.
Kwese Sport 2 provides NFL action, Australia cricket, athletics, WTA tennis as well as World Rally.
Other channels available on Kwese are Kwese Prime, Kwese Stories, Kwese movies, Kwese Know, Kwese Kids and Kwese Family.
Speaking at the launch, Country Manager at Kwese TV, Maxwell Dodd said, the station would provide viewers with quality channels on its decoder at very affordable rates and also allows patrons to decide which subscription they would prefer.
“The first month of subscription comes free with the first installation after which customers reserve the right to choose from its packages which includes a three-day subscription, weekly and monthly.
On his part, Group President of Kwese TV, Joseph Hundah reiterated that they are poised to provide affordable premium content to audience across the continent.
