NDC Suspends Campaign

SONY DSCThe National Executive Committee (NEC) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has decided that all activities leading to the Party’s congress in October this year must be suspended.

The party directed in a press released yesterday, which was signed by, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary of the NDC.

The activities include campaigns and conferences being organized at national, regional, constituencies and branches across the country.

The decision it said would enable the party actively participate and effectively monitor the on-going Electoral Commission’s national supplementary registration exercise. “We remind party members that the registration is a vital element on the country’s electoral programme”.

“The NEC appreciates the enthusiasm and commitment exhibited by members in all programs and activities preceding the party’s national congress. Also we commend our executives and comrades at all levels, especially our members for their invaluable role and sacrifices they are playing towards the on-going national” registration exercise, the statement added.

It encourage all members of the party to comply with the directive to ensure the success of the exercise.
