NDC group roots for Azimbe Abugri as youth organiser

The Crusaders, a National Democratic Congress (NDC) affiliated youth group in the Upper East Region, has thrown its weight behind Mr. Emmanuel Azimbe Abugri who is vying for the position of the regional youth organiser in the upcoming NDC elections.

Mr. Abugri, the incumbent Binduri Constituency youth organiser of the party is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Azimbe Memorial Hospital, located at Atuba in the constituency.

The crusaders described Mr. Azimbe, 34, as energetic and an unassuming young man who is imbued with the skills of creating jobs and has successfully established a number of companies employing over 200 people.

The Crusaders declared their support at a press conference organised at the sidelines of the commissioning of the Azimbe Memorial Hospital, one of the flagship projects Mr. Azimbe had executed.

In a statement signed by Ibrabim Mbila, Salifu Alukuba and Sadat Jambeidu, the crusaders said “it associated itself with the visionary young man and the milestone project brought to the doorsteps of his people”.

According to them “the importance of the hospital project cannot be under estimated as it brings health care to people hither to denied such facilities, reduces maternal mortality and infant morbidity and also helping in the achievement of SDG health for all by 2030”.

To this end “we urge the good people of the region to patronise the facility by seeking early medical attention timorously to save more lives for national development.
