Multichoice Ghana Limited are winners of the Ghana edition of the Standard Chartered Trophy 2017 tournament held at the Lizzy Sports Complex at East Legon.
They defeated Latex Foam 2 -1 in extra time of the finals to win the championship.
Speaking after the finals, Madam Mansa Nettey, incoming CEO of Standard Chartered Ghana Limited praised the efforts of the Multichoice team, urging them to train to make Ghana proud at the West Africa qualifiers to the finals in Anfield.
Multichoice will represent Ghana at the Standard Chartered Trophy West Africa regional tournament, on March 11, in Ghana and would be joined by winners from Nigeria and Cameroon, with Jason McAteer, a Liverpool legend joining the regional tournament.
The four-day all expense paid trip to the UK will have the team receive professional training session with LFC legends and coaches to help them prepare for the tournament.
The Standard Chartered Trophy 2017 tournament is an international 5-aside football tournament that provides local markets with a platform to actively engage its clients, staff and stakeholders.
