Mobitech Adjudged Over- All Best At AITEC 2014

Mobitech PixMOBITECH Global Systems, a Ghana-based IT Services Company, has been adjudged Overall Best at the just-ended AITEC 2014 Exhibition in Accra.

The two-day exhibition, which brought together players in the banking and mobile money sectors of the financial industry to showcase what they have in their sleeves, saw Mobitech, a company that provides custom applications to the financial sector, outdooring some of its solutions and innovative point-of-sale devices.

Mobitech, also used the event as a platform for the launching of its sPoS  an innovative point-of-sale device that uses a traditional Samsung tablet fitted with a sleeve to enable card transactions, printing, biometrics as well as barcode scanning functiona-lities, all in one complete unit.

The company further seized the opportunity to showcase its other fleet of touch screen sPoS devices which are reputed to be the most advanced, robust and user friendly on the market. In addition, it demonstrated how their various applications run seamlessly on the various devices.

Presenting the award, the Chairman of AITEC Africa, Mr. Sean Moroney, praised Mobitech for its customer focused approach as well as the innovative products and services on offer.

Commenting, Mr. Wisdom Vodzi, CEO of the company, hinted that the sPoS, a collaboration between Samsung and Mobitech’s South Korean partners ITwell, is set to become the Point-of-Sale device of choice for most microfinance and savings and loans organisations in the country, as most of them run Android applications on tablets that connect via Bluetooth to separate receipt printers to manage their mobilisation efforts.

As the sole representatives of ITwell’s business interests in Africa, Mobitech will run and operate the only repair centre for ITwell’s devices outside of South Korea in Ghana.
