A 23- MAN all local squad has been named for the national U-23 team for the All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville, next month.

The technical committee of the Black Meteors named the 23-man squad for the All Africa Games without any foreign based player.

It is unclear whether the foreign based players were not invited because of the claim of no funds by the Sports Ministry.

All the players invited are from the local league with two players each from Kotoko, WAFA, New Edubiase, Medeama and Wa All Stars.

The team which is expected to leave on August 27 is made up of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders and four attackers.
