Man with kidney problem cries for help

Mr. Francis Quartey, a 40-year-old man suffering from kidney problem, has appealed to the public to assist him seek cure to the ailment
He was diagnosed as suffering from a chronic kidney disease secondary to chronic glorumeronephritis by the Ghana Police Hospital Dialysis Unit.

A letter signed by Dr. Kumashie Dominic Dzamasi, to elicit support from the general public, said “Mr. Quartey would need to undergo haemodialysis in a long term basis  for the patient to enjoy active lifestyle.

The letter stated that since kidney disease leads to anemia, the patient would also need exogenous erythropoietin to treat the anemia, adding that the total cost of the treatment per month amounted to GH¢4040.00

Kind-hearted Ghanaians, philanthropists, and governmental agencies are kindly urged to assist Mr. Quartey, by donating through the Times Needy Fund accounts number 001030068702555 at UBA, Accra.
