The items included rice, cooking oil, toilet rolls, milk, Milo, soft drinks, sugar, soaps, used clothes and disinfectants, and a cash of GH¢5,000.
Mr. Samuel Bampoe, catechist of the church, who led the congregation, said the gesture formed part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the church, which was on theme: “His faithfulness continues to all generations”.
Madam Trudey Akusika Segbefia, the headmistress of the school, receiving the items, thanked the church for the gesture saying, “This is real love shown to us, as government alone can’t do it.”
She said that the school, with a population of about 400 students trains them in entrepreneurial skills, and appealed to other institutions and individuals to assist the school.
