Madrid, a better team now – Bale

Real Madrid’s new star Gareth Bale has no problem acknowledging that the European champions have become more of a team following Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus exit.

“Obviously, it’s going to be a little different from having such a big player there,” Bale said in an interview with the Daily Mail.

“It’s maybe a bit more relaxed, yes. I suppose there is more of a team, more working as one unit rather than one player.”

However, the Welsh forward did not want to comment when asked if he prefers working with new coach Julen Lopetegui or ex-boss Zinedine Zidane.

“I’m not sure I want to answer that,” he said. “Obviously Lopetegui’s English]helps.”In Spanish, I can talk to a manager but maybe not go into that amount of detail with them that I would need to.”Sport-english.com
