The Lodge of Research, under the Grand Lodge of Ghana (GLOG) Number 53, has presented a number of school desks worth GH¢3,800 to the Christ Faith Foster Home School at Frafaha in the Adenta District of the Greater Accra Region.

Mr. Kwabena B. Akorsah, Worshipful Master of the Lodge of Research in Ghana, making the presentation on behalf of the Lodge, said charity was a very important principle in Free Masonry, and that the donation was to help with the infrastructure needs of the school and to help reduce the burden on the school authorities.

He said that the lodge would do its best to honour its duty of charity and hope to make yearly donations to the school as its contribution towards the provision of quality education to the youth of Ghana.

The Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Ellen Ohene-Bekoe, was grateful to the group for choosing her school to receive the desks and promised that they would take very good care of the desks.

She called on other philanthropist and religious organisations to emulate the kind gesture of the Lodge of Research in coming to the aid of the school.
