Head coach of Liberty Professionals George Lamptey has hit hard at Ghanaian referees insisting they have results of matches in their pockets even before kickoff.
The Scientific Soccer lads managed to hold Berekum Chelsea to a 1-1 draw game at the Berekum Golden City park in their week 23 fixture.
But the Liberty gaffer who thinks his side should have won the game felt center Referee Latif Adaari’s decisions on the field of play was poor.
Speaking after the game, the former Accra Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak player urged match officials to be fair and balance during games.
“It was a nice game but I must say the referee failed to stamp his authority on the game especially in the first half,” George Lamptey said.
“Let us all play football, let us do that”.
