‘Let­’s promote education together’

Funfair pixSeveral school children in Tamale in the Northern Region have received stationeries to aid them in their education.

The items which were presented to the students at a Cowbell Funfair include branded bags, books and pens

The presentation was part of efforts by the company to assist the children with the necessary tools to promote education in the area.

The event which was part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities saw over 5,000 children receiving the items worth over GH¢50, 000.

Events Representative of Cowbell, Inusah Mohammed, in a speech said the presentation was aimed at assisting the beneficiary students.

The gesture he said would go a long way to improve upon the lives of the students who are the future leaders.

“Cowbell gives back to society in several ways and the fan fair is a platform to appreciate the support of the society over the years,” Mr. Inusah stated.

He said there was the need for corporate bodies to complement government’s efforts at promoting education in Ghana.

The beneficiary schools include, Vitim Senior High School, Ghana Senior High School,Zozbli Primary and Junior High School(JHS),Sakasaka Primary and JHS,Presbyterian Primary and JHS and Methodist Primary and JHS.
