Lambussie-Karni Prepares For Bece

BomThe Lambussie-Karni District  Assembly in the Upper West Region has engaged external examiners to teach final year junior high school pupils the skills and technique involved in answering questions during formal examinations.

The move, an initiative of Mr Bom Kofi Dy-yaka, the District Chief Executive, is intended to improve on the abysmal performance of the pupils at the Basic Education Certificate Examination, over the past few years.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Lambussie, he said the Assembly would continue to play its role effectively to improve on education delivery in the area.

Mr Dy-yaka said the Assembly would support 15 teacher-trainees this year. GNA
