Kotoko to appoint a local coach

The 2013/14 Premier League champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko will soon appoint a local coach after Paa Kwesi Fabian handed in his resignation letter.

Lawyer Sarfo Duku, the Communication Director of the club, in an interview told the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said ‘’we will appoint a new coach at the end of this month and he is going to be a local coach.’’

On rumours that Charles Kwabena Akunnor, the Ex-Black Stars captain is being considered to land the job, he said “we are talking with a lot of local coaches so every local coach in the country is a favourite for the job”.

Lawyer Duku said in the absence of a substantive coach, Akakpo Patron, the Assistant Coach will take charge of the team. –GNA
