Kofi Manu, known in football circles as ‘Blue Boy’ watched Kotoko lose 1-2 to MC Eulma of Algeria in the CAF Champions League 1/16 at the Baba Yara stadium, and proceeded to make an outrageous outburst that the Kotoko players are addicted to pornography, instead of resting during their leisure hours.
But Amos Frimpong, who is the leader of the playing staff of the club has expressed worry with Manu’s unfounded allegations, saying the players are very disappointed that such an ‘old man’ with experience in football could make such allegations”.
The skipper has therefore demanded that Blue Boy be made to render an unqualified apology to the Kotoko players because such comments are damaging to their reputations.
“We have families and most of us have wives and you cannot imagine what such a loose comment has done to our reputations”.
