Kotoko, Hearts, 2 others brace for MTN FA semis

Four teams would be vying feverishly for the 2015 MTN FA Cup as the semi-final matches would be played on Friday and Sunday.

Reigning Champions Asante Kotoko would be hoping to defend their title as they come against Aduana Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Friday.Kotoko have confirmed their interest of lifting the ultimate trophy after beating Ashantigold to qualify to this stage.

Accra Hearts of Oak would also battle it out with Medeama at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast.

Both teams are also keen on lifting ultimate trophy and expected to put up one of the best games of the competition.

The gate fees for the match in Sunyani will be GHc5 while at the Cape Coast Stadium, the popular stand would go for GHc3, Lower VIP -GHc5, VVIP- Ghc10.

*Mas-Ud Dramani has been named caretaker coach for national Under-20 ladies team.

Dramnai is making a return to women’s football coaching after leading the Ghana U17 Girls team to win bronze at the 2012 FIFA World Cup in Azerbaijan.

The former Asante Kotoko coach has replaced Bashir Hayford who resigned from his post to concentrate on Ghana Premier League leaders AshantiGold.

According to reports, Hayford was pressured by the club to relinquish that national team coach to fully focus on guiding the club to their first league title in 1995.
