The Ghana Premier League match day 4 fixture between home team Ashantigold SC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko was called off by officials due to torrential rains at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.
With the rains pouring in torrents and making play difficult, match officials had no option than to postpone the game ahead of the start of second half.
The entertaining first half ended 1-1. Yakubu Mohammed gave Kotoko the lead on 14 minutes but the advantage lasted for only three minutes as Amos Addai fired home from close range to level the score for the Miners.
