Konadu Joins CIM In ‘Shake Up’

maxwellDEPUTY Black Stars coach, Maxwell Konadu, at the weekend joined some former Black Stars players as well as executives and members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) at the November edition of the Accra Work-Out held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Konadu, who was joined by former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Augustine Arhinful and Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, went through the two hours of semi-vigorous work-out interspersed with music and some ‘Azonto’ aerobic session.

Speaking at the end of the work-out, the Stars coach expressed gratitude to the organisers – Primeval Media, for their thoughtfulness in helping to keep Ghanaians in shape.

According to him, a sound mind rests in a sound body and before one can have a strong and concentrated mind to carry on with their duties, they need to make sure that they keep fit.

He disclosed that since calling time off his footballing career, he does not go a day without exercising.

“Exercising has and is still my secret, therefore I urge every Ghanaian to make it a habit to exercise regularly in order to stay healthy and fit.”

For their part, both Stephen Appiah and Augustine Arhinful were beside themselves with joy at the event especially with the Azonto aerobic session.

For Arhinful, the discipline nature of participants and the conducive environment with which the event was conducted was one thing that fascinated him the most.

While recommending the event to every family around the capital, he gave thumbs up to the organisers for helping reduce the burden that will be placed on the scanty health facilities with diseases that exercising can prevent.
