“We are going to transform every region with innovative ways of solving problems,” he emphasised.

Mr Agyepong said the company was working with key stakeholders including the Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) to improve waste collection in the country.

He mentioned a dustbin manufacturing plant in Kumasi, one million bin distribution as some projects the company would embark on this year, adding that the initiative would create jobs for Ghanaians.

On the issue of delayed payment, he said the company had cleared all outstanding salary arrears.

He commended the government for its relentless efforts at improving sanitation in the country.

Dr Agyepong said ensuring good sanitation was a shared responsibility and urged the people to help keep the country tidy.

Mrs Gloria Opoku, director in charge of Human Resource and Administration Zoomlion,  who spoke on “Effective leadership and accountability” urged the staff to inculcate good organisational culture in their daily activities.
