The government can do nothing for Ghanaians if they continue to have negative mindset and attitude towards policies and programmes, Pastor Joshua Obeng, an Associate Pastor with the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), has cautioned.

“President Akufo-Addo cannot do anything if you don’t change your mindset about the economy,” the young international preacher told the Ayigya congregation of the church while preaching on the theme, ‘Stronghold’.

“For we in the world, we do not wage war as the world does, we demolish and augments every pretension that sets itself against the knowledge of God, and we take the captive of every taught to make it obedience to Christ,” the outspoken preacher quoted from 2 Corinthians 10:3.

Pastor Obeng urged world leaders particularly those on the African continent to sit up and use the natural resources abundantly.

“Some Ghanaians have a stronghold and belief that government cannot do anything about the ailing economy and have to resort to ‘juju’ for economic freedom and Africans must demystify such beliefs.

“In Africa people think when your business is growing well, then you are using ‘juju’,” it cannot be the total truth.

“Our minds are concrete, we need to change our mindset for positive things, for one to have economic freedom is the act of the creator nothing more,” Pastor Obeng noted. –
