Jomoro kindergarten gets support

Wing Commander(Rtd)The Member of Parliament for Jomoro, Wing Commander (rtd) Francis Kabenlah Anaman, has presented 100 bags of cement and GH¢ 2,400 cash towards the construction of a kindergarten block in the town.

The project, costing GH¢ 30,000, is being funded from the MPs share of the Common Fund.

Currently, the children at the kindergarten are housed in an old structure.

The MP said the construction of the new kindergarten building was to fulfill a promise to the people.

According to him, the project has delayed, due to the late arrival of the Common Fund.

He urged the residents to support the project with communal labour,  to reduce the construction cost.

The chief of Enzemitianu, Nana Erzoah Kaku Kpanyinli, who received the items, thanked the MP for the project.

Mr. Peter Blay Ackah Quayson, Jomoro District Education Director, asked parents to invest in their children’s education so as to ensure their effective development for the future.

Enrolling the children in KG would reciprocate the investment being made into the project by government, he said.

Mr. Sylvester Daddieh, DCE for the area, later inaugurated a five-member committee to lead and supervise the construction of the project.
