The company was adjudged the CIMG Motor Firm of the Year 2015, for its strategic marketing in the areas of market insights, marketing strategy development and managing CSR programmes.
Mr. Salem Kalmony, Managing Director of Japan Motor, touted 2015 as a successful fiscal year in Sales and aftersales service as such would strive hard to maintain its leadership position.
The company is the leading distributor of Nissan range of vehicles and Yamaha motorbikes, outboard motors in the country.
“This year has been good for us. We’ve received a lot of awards both local and international, having been confirmed as still a member of the prestigious Ghana Club 100, and also a proud recipient of Nissan top award as best customer satisfaction in new vehicle sales and aftersales in 2015,” he said adding that it would eschew complacency and strive hard with continuous innovation, research and marketing strategies to maintain our leadership in Ghana’s automobile industry.
JMTC’s recognition at the awards dwelt much on its marketing strategies to surpass competition in the industry and most importantly its corporate social initiatives that continue to touch base with its numerous clientele.
Also cited was its continuous research which has become synonymous with its brand that continues to meet the demand of its target audience thus giving them value for money
Mr. Abdul-Somad Alhassan Musah, assistant MD of Japan Motors; Mr. Imad Antoine Ghorayeb, General Manager, Sales and Marketing; Mrs. Hilda Peasah, Marketing Manager and Mr. Wasim Deen Ahmed, Nissan Product Manager were top executives of JMTC who were present to receive the award on the company’s behalf.
Mr. Ghorayeb who received the award thanked the organisers for acknowledging hard work in the industry and dedicated the award to its customers whose patronage had made JMTC a household name.
