Issachar Prophetic and Leadership Institute has held its maiden leadership conference dubbed “A prosperous Ghana lecture”.
The event, which was held in Accra last Sunday, served as a platform for stakeholders to discuss issues that would enhance national development.
It brought together members of the clergy, political parties, and entrepreneurs.
It had the theme, “Building a prosperous Ghana with an effective leadership approach.”
Ms. Ursula Owusu, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, in her keynote address, said leaders, especially those in political administration should initiate policies that would ensure the sustainable progress of the country.
Ms. Owusu urged Ghanaians to vote for God-fearing people to manage affairs of the country, adding that, such people sat down unconcerned about what happened in the country because of the negative connotation to partisan politics.
The legislator suggested that political leaders should improve upon their interventions for skills training for the youth, adding that, with the needed investment, the fortunes of Ghana could change.
Prophet Selasie Addae, the head of the institute told The Ghanaian Times that his outfit has outlined more leadership activities to equip the youth for leadership positions.
