Accra Hearts of Oak caretaker coach, Yaw Preko, has showered praise on defender, Inusah Musah and is confident he can break into the first team of the senior national team, the Black Stars, if given the chance.
Hearts won by a goal to nil against Ebusua Dwarfs in a Week 28 match of the Ghana Premier League played at the Accra Sports Stadium, courtesy a sublime free-kick by Togolese striker, Foovi Aguidi.
The defender re-staked his claim of having been one of the best center-backs this season. He has displayed series of splendid performance for his side since he started enjoying consistent playing time in the second round.
Preko did not hesitate to praise the performance of the player and said he would not be surprised if he is called into the senior national team, the Black Stars.
“Inusah, since he came in the second round of the season, has been superb and we are all happy for him, and we pray that he will get definite call-up into the senior national team and prove his worth.”
Meanwhile, the Hearts won his fourth Man of the Match accolade for the season as the Phobians returned to winning ways against Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Post-Traguil era started on a bright note with Togolese international Foovi Aguidi scoring a sublime free kick in a 1-0 win over Dwarfs to move Hearts up the log.
And Inusah, captain in the absence of Gnagne, excelled again at the back for Hearts.
With the game barren, Inusah cleared the ball off the line with goalkeeper Sam Akurugu well beaten to ensure Hearts kept a clean sheet.
He was voted man of the match in the Super Clash against Kotoko and subsequently against Techiman City and Inter Allies.
