‘I See Your Dream’ soccer campaign ends

SamsungThe Samsung “I See Your Dreams,” football campaign has ended in Accra.

The event, which lasted for three weeks was aimed at nurturing football talents and provide them with the necessary coaching to excel in the game.

Coached by former Black Stars player Yaw Preko, kids were taken through several lessons to sharpen their skills and also provided with the necessary equipment to improve their game.

Also a native Kotobabi, Yaw Preko stated that, the initiative would go a long way to develop football in the country.

He added that, the future is very bright for the country as several talents would be discovered through such projects.

He also lauded Samsung for the support, adding that, corporate entities should develop such projects to assist in the development of sports in the country.

Consumer Electronics Director at Samsung, Vishwas Saxena said, the initiative was part of efforts to connect to the public through football, a game that is close to the heart of the Ghanaian people.

He added that, the project also provides the opportunity for the kids to play the game in a more professional way by providing the right avenues and equipment.

According to him, the project will set the stage for the children to make it into the national teams and win laurels the country. Over 20 players who made it to the grand finale were presented with Jerseys, boots, bags and other football equipment from Samsung.
